Congratulations on your new Bimini!

Let’s get it installed smoothly in just a few minutes with these straightforward steps.

Step 1: Choose a Workspace
Find a comfortable area with enough space to fully unfold the Bimini.

Step 2: Unpack the Components
Carefully remove the contents from the packaging, separating the fabric parts and accessories. Your Bimini should include two pre-assembled ratchets on the loop strap and a cord threaded through it.

Included accessories:

  • (2x) 8 mm cords
  • (1x) 13mm cord (For Defender Models)
  • (2 meters) Velcro hook

Step 3: Prepare the Ratchets
Insert the 8 mm cords into the ratchets located at the back of the Bimini.

Step 5: Prep the Vehicle
Cut the adhesive Velcro into sections and apply it to:

  • The inner part of the horizontal upper drip rails of the windows
  • The inner part of the vertical side drip rails of the windows

Step 6: Install on the Vehicle
Attach the Bimini header to the front windscreen top channel.

  • For SERIES: Secure each hook into the slot on the front strap.
  • For DEFENDER: Use the 13 mm cord supplied if your header is a cylindrical rail upper rail, or keep the factory-installed textile strap for a flat type (also know as TD5/TDCI type). Check on this video

Then, pull the ratchet cords prepared before to tension the Bimini and secure it to the vehicle’s structure wherever suits you better.

Attach the hood’s Velcro to the horizontal and vertical drip rails where the adhesive Velcro was placed.

Step 7: Final Adjustments
Adjust the lateral cords and ensure everything is secure and properly aligned, and you’re ready to go!

Enjoy your ride with your newly installed Bimini!
